Michael has been working with leaders (both experienced and developing) and teams in private and public businesses, non-profit organizations and government corporations and departments since 2003. Our vision is to support leaders at all levels find, grow and be empowered in their leadership advantage to accomplish their best results.

His continued research work enables Michael to provide leaders with current and timely insights into key leadership issues.

Part of a successful partnership since 1988, Michael worked as an investment advisor and vice-president for several financial services firms. He achieved top producer status during his years of investment work. Running a team of up to 18 assistants and associates, he knows from experience the value in building an effective team.

Education:

Michael is certified for leadership assessment and development from the Center for Creative Leadership (ranked consistently as one of the world’s leading leadership research and education institutions) and also involved in the Certificate of Leadership and Management program with Notre Dame University.

Michael joined the investment industry in 1984 after graduating from Acadia University with a Bachelor of Business Administration. In addition to his Bachelor’s degree Michael has also achieved his Chartered Financial Analyst, Financial Management Advisor and Certified Financial Planner designations, along with a Fellowship from the Canadian Securities Institute and the Partners and Directors designation.

Michael has been a member of The Strategic Coach program since 1996. He also studied at Coach University in Colorado, USA where he received his Professional Coach designation.
